Admissions Policy

Annunciation School is open to children of all races, creeds, and national origins. Application for your child's admission to any grade at Annunciation may be made at ANY TIME for future school years. However, we encourage families to register as soon as you decide to send your children to Annunciation.

Application/Registration Process:

The following are required of all students applying for admission to Annunciation School:

Registration Form: Completed form must be turned in to the school office. Click here to download a copy of the Registration Form.
A Birth Certificate and Baptismal Record must be presented at the time of registration, if the child was not baptized at Annunciation.
Medical Records: Before a child may attend any school in the State of Ohio he/she must meet the mandatory vaccination requirements. Record of these vaccines must be submitted to Annunciation before the child will be admitted to class.
Placement Testing: Any student entering Annunciation will be required to take an entrance/placement test.
Current report card & previous school records are to be turned in to the office with the student registration form.
Kindergarten Admissions: Students applying for Kindergarten must turn 5 years of age before September 30. Exceptions can be made for the students who meet the requirements of the readiness test.

Tuition

At Annunciation, we appreciate the financial commitment you have made in choosing a Catholic education for your child. A variety of tuition payment plans are available to meet the individual needs of our families.  These options include the following:
Payment in full at the beginning of the year.
Two payments - 1/2 in July and 1/2 in January
Four payments - 1/4 in July, October, January, April
Ten payments – August to May
A registration fee of $100.00 is due at the time of registration: $50.00 of this fee is applied toward your child’s tuition and $50.00 is a non-refundable testing fee.

Tuition for 2008-2009 is $3,950.

Financial Assistance

Annunciation will work with any motivated families who desire the best education for their child. Please contact our principal, Cindy Hardesty, or our secretary, Alice Derrick, if you have any questions about possible financial assistance for your child.

Ed Choice scholarships are available to the families of students currently attending public school which have received a rating of “Academic Emergency” or “Academic Watch” for three years or more. Kindergarten students that would be assigned to a school identified as such may also apply for this scholarship. Ed Choice scholarships would cover the total cost of tuition at Annunciation for those families living in the Clifton area.
